About Isabel

Isabel Tonelli is a health-supportive chef, and a culinary and nutrition educator. She is passionate about her quest to help people restore health and balance in their lives by educating them about the power of healthy food choices for preventing disease and promoting wellness. Isabel gives cooking classes from her Manhattan kitchen, from her family farm in the Hudson Valley and once a year she teaches classes in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she grew up. Isabel offers group classes as well as individual cooking classes for those who require specific training for a given condition.

 Isabel also works as a health counselor helping individuals with problems such as weight management, insomnia, chronic fatigue, mood swings, stress and inflammation to name a few. Isabel's approach is through food and healing and lifestyle changes.

Isabel is a graduate from the Institute For Integrative Nutrition and is a Board Certified Holistic Health Counselor. She is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She studied Food Therapy with renowned expert Dr. Annemarie Colbin. Isabel received her degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. and she also completed her culinary training at The Natural Gourmet Institute.

Isabel lives in Manhattan with her husband, their three daughters their cat Lucy and dog Henry.
